After getting so many requests for it, we have finally created a two-tone strap kit for the Blue Rolex Submariner Two-Tone. The clasp remains stainless steel but the end pieces that create the junction between the strap and the watch case are two-tone, stainless steel and gold plated.

Here is a very special request from one of our client and it actually ended up looking very cool. The watch had been personalized using our polished black PVD bezel for Daytona, our crown pusher kit for Daytona and our white leather Rolex strap kit. The result is very different from anything we have done in the past but it looks very cool on the wrist. A good way to personalize your watch for a little while and give it a fresh new look.

The installation is very easy and works well. We even put the watch in a water resistance testing machine, set at 0.5 and 3 bars, to prove that the caseback, when installed properly, does not affect your watch’s water resistance.

If you are planing on using your watch in the water after installing the caseback, please remember to get it tested for water resistance before to make sure it has been installed properly.

The installation was made on a  GMT-C 116710. The plastic ball did not work as planned to do the installation. We’ll try it again and update you on that with a video tutorial as soon as we can. Most of our previous customer managed to install the caseback with this tool. In this case, the part ended up being installed with a more traditional caseback press and it adjusted perfectly to the watch.

In their review, Minus4Plus6.com explains the advantages of our product vs. the other existing transparent casebacks on the market: IT LOOKS GOOD. Our see-through caseback is the closest you can get to the original Rolex caseback. “The finish of the Swiss Watch Customs caseback is very similar to the Rolex case finish and it is obvious that this brand caseback is made for Rolex”.

Our sapphire case back is available for GMT’s, Submariners, Sea Dwellers, Explorer II and Daytonas.
